Aston Martin broadens the DBX lineup in its seventh year.

The 2027 Aston Martin DBX GT, a comfort-focused variant of its super-SUV, has been unveiled, joining the lineup alongside the sportier DBX S. Retaining the 717-hp twin-turbo V-8 engine, the DBX GT features recalibrated suspension and transmission, prioritizing a smoother ride without compromising performance.

Inside, the cabin features fresh upholstery with distinctive stitching along the sides of the headrests. As the super-SUV celebrates its seventh year, Aston Martin is broadening the DBX lineup.

Design and Features

The GT presents a tidier aesthetic than the sportier S model, swapping the wide grille’s mesh for horizontal bars in bright or dark shades. These lines continue next to the horizontal LED daytime running lights at the bumper’s outer edges.

The front fender’s two-piece metal side strake gets a more elegant dual finish of polished and satin, while the lower front bumper, side sills, and rear diffuser are painted in body color rather than black like the DBX S.

The GT also rides on new 22-inch wheels with a Satin Titanium finish, wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Zero all-season tires as standard, although a sportier 23-inch wheel and Pirelli P-Zero summer tire package is available.

Performance and Interior

Beneath the hood lies the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8, producing identical output to the DBX S with 717 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Aston Martin claims the GT matches the S’s performance with a 3.1-second run to 60 mph and a top speed of 193 mph.

Inside, Aston Martin aimed to make the DBX feel even more luxurious through ornate embroidery on the seats. This new stitching travels up the side, framing the shoulder pads and headrest.

Aston Martin also added more lavish interior trim pieces, including an anodized metal drive mode dial, while deep-pile floor mats complete the luxurious cabin. The DBX GT also comes standard with a panoramic glass roof.

As the DBX GT enters the market, it’s likely that Aston Martin’s focus on comfort and luxury will appeal to customers seeking a more refined super-SUV experience. With its unique suspension setup and reworked dampers, the DBX GT may offer a compelling alternative to the sportier DBX S.

The DBX GT will start reaching customers in the fourth quarter of this year. The GT will sit alongside the DBX S in the lineup for 2027, with the DBX 707 going out of production. Aston Martin has yet to divulge pricing, but it’s expected to start at around $290,000.
